Sorry i can write english only.
I have Suzuki XF650.
I have bought it 12 years ago in Turkey. Since then I had no problems. But now i need SEAL OIL, SEAL DUST for FRONT FORK, CARBURETOR complete set, CABLE CLUTCH, PLATE friction clutches.
I live in Kazakhstan. Here big problem with any parts.
I heard that XF650 is brother of DR650. I have small possibility to order a part from the USA. There is DR650 parts.
I would to ask you:
1. Can i use parts of DR650 so ( SEAL OIL, SEAL DUST for FRONT FORK, CABLE CLUTCH, PLATE friction clutches) for XF650? Or not?
2. Could you recommend me good Internetshop of XF650 parts?
3. Where was a manufacture of XF650? In Europe or Japan?

In Germany there is absolutely no problem to get parts for our XFs. You can get them new and expensive from any offical Suzuki dealership, there are many aftermarket parts and used parts dealers offer a lot, too.
Good sites I buy parts from are:
www.ebay.de - online auctions
www.bike-teile.de - used parts
www.motorradteile-vogel.de - small shop with aftermarket parts

Unfortunately I don't know any online shop for genuine parts. Suzuki Germany has one http://classic.suzuki.de/DSDLR/25902/shopframe.php , but they list only bikes from 2000 to 2010 and I get no results for Freewind parts numers.

A site like http://www.pieces-suz.com/suzuki-recher ... -3184.html may help you to find the right parts number and name of the part. Then we might help to get the parts somewhere.

If you look for DR parts be aware that only the DR 650 SE shares parts with our XF, namely the engine (except engine head).

As far as I know the XF was built in Japan, I don't even know if Suzuki has a factory around Europe.
