Good for you! Please start your own thread for your project to keep things "in order". I'm sure there will be interest from others for your adventure in fitting a pair of RS34 to the Freewind.
Yes there are some Yamaha singles with 66mm carb spacing also. Perhaps they have more space in the frame for larger carburettors. FCR33 is the largest of "small size" Keihin FCR. 35 and above have larger outer dimensions but seem to have been fitted to some Yamaha singles. However I am not sure if they fit inside Freewind frame. Also the standard Freewind carburettor has outlet outer diameter of only 38mm so it can be challenging to fit RS34 with 40mm outlet outer diameter to Freewind manifold.
I got mine from ebay, there's a wide range available fitting our 43mm fork tubes.

Since I don't order anything from amazon I can't really comment on the quality and flexibility of those fork boots...
I didn't fasten the lower end, but you could cut out a part around the fender to make it fit smoothly around the fork.

I got mine from ebay. They were for Harley Sportster. Enduro fork boots are much longer typically and I did not like that look.

You may need to grind the ends of this fork brace / front mudguard bracket so that the rubber fits between fork and the connector plate.

Love the idea! I never thought about doing it this way... I was basically thinking about doing a cut-out around the entire brace and not just the parts where it's screwed onto the fork... this might be something to do over the winter (in case we get one).
