Hello to everybody,
I m back with a call for support.
Kit Chain: economical proposal from you.
Front Disk Brake: floating or not? Wich product to substitute the original? Also SPARKSAM DANKE.
CHAIN KIT and Front Disk
It's hard to tell which language you prefer, but I assume that communication in English is easier.
To answer your questions, I tell you about my experience. Considering chains and chain kits I'd only buy quality brands. DID is one, Enuma another brand I've had and which I can recommend. No use to buy lower quality for two thirds of the price if you get only half the mileage.
Keep in mind that all brands have various qualities; tensile strength and form of the rings are two aspects you should consider.
Brakewise, I can't recommend former Lucas/now TRW because the discs I've had from them are NOT floating and I had severe trouble and two damaged discs. I've got a disc by EBC and it's only almost as good as the factory type but much cheaper; so I can recommend it.
Regards,
Dirk

Allow me to agree on the disk issue, stay away from non-floating ones. I've had two disks bend a tiny bit (the second disk was brand new - less than 1000Km) and the pumping feeling is really irritating.
With chains, as with many things in life, too cheap is usually more expensive in the long run. Whatever brand you buy, if you clean and lubricate it properly it should last several thousand kilometres more than if you're careless.
