sorry i don't speak german.
But this is one of the onley forum's for freewinds.

I've just got a freewind 650 but i don't know what this "gage" is for.


I feel so stupid to ask this.
Can some one help me.

I think that's the window where you can watch the level of the break fluid in the tank for the rear wheel break...

I thought so too but i can't see anything in it so it must be empty but the rear brake still works.
There is an upper and lower arrow markt on it but i cant see any fluid.

But thnx for conferming my thoughts.

Then turn off the plastic, it's only two screws and you can see the complete brake-fluid-reservoir.

If it is that empty you should refill break fluid within the next hours or don't use the rear brake.

Have a look at the brake pads. If they are worn out, the level of the fluid may also be low.

i've refilld it.
The brakes patches look fine.
