Rear shock absorber

Beitrag von nihadpek »

Please, I have a problem with very soft rear shock absorber, so I try to make adjustment at the valve on the gas tank, but without any succes. So I measure the gas pressure in the gas tank, and pressure gage show me 0 bar, there is no pressure in the tank. Probably I lost my gas in the tank. So please what is the corect pressure in the gas tank, and does anybody have the similar problem. Thank you.

Hello,

sorry for my terrible english  so much as i know, you can not refill the tank. this is a unknown problem in this forum. i think you should buy a used shock-absorber. here is a link to a german used-part dealer:

i hope its a little help for you....

okay okay... i`ve read Aos`s answer.... you can refill, but the pressure..... i don`t know...

That's not right, the tank can be refilled. A far as I know it is filled with nitrogen, but probably just air may be ok, too. But I don't know the correct pressure.
Mabey you can contact a repair shop that is specialized on suspensions or dirt-bikes in your country. I had my shock absorber repaired at http://www.pepe-tuning.de/, but thats in Germany and I don't know where you're from.
